Hey there Mama Bear, I’m Holly!

I’m the farmer’s daughter who fell in love with and married the carpenter’s son. Together we have three fabulous children, one of which was born with Down Syndrome and later diagnosed with autism.

Being a special needs Mom has impacted my life in a BIG way. I want to help fellow Mama Bears navigate this life changing role with honesty, humor, and grace.

Fun Facts About Me:

I grew up on my family’s dairy farm but can’t drive a tractor (without heavy prompting from someone more knowledgeable).

I am an unapologetic soccer Mom (that’s probably me yelling encouragement and pantomiming kicks from the sidelines). Not sorry.

Ice cream and bacon are two of my favorite foods (whomever thought of putting bacon in ice cream is a genius).
